In 2005, a young prodigy, Anton Yelchin, was the star of a film, titled House of D with costars Tea Leoni, David Duchovny, Erikah Badu, and the late Robin Williams. House of D premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in 2005.
That same year, the president and founder of the BHFF, NinoSimone, was astounded by the intelligence and artistic charisma of the young actor, Anton Yelchin. Mr. Simone became a fan ever since the adult chat he had with Yelchin. He, along with the entire leadership staff at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, were extremely saddened after hearing about the loss of such a young artist. The BHFF extends its sincere condolences to the friends and family of Anton Yelchin.
