As the Beverly Hills Film Festival accepts submissions for its 20th anniversary edition, we cannot forget the memorable evening during which, we honored Mike Medavoy.

As the recipient of the 19th Beverly Hills Film Festival LIVING LEGEND AWARD during the Awards Ceremoy, Mike Medavoy was honored for his countless achievements in the filmic world by the Beverly Hills Film Festival founding president, Nino Simone.

Upon receiving his award, Mike slowly walked towards the podium, gazing at a full crowd of standing audience who was in awe of his humility, optimism, and achievements throughout the years. As he walked closer to the microphone, he paused and said: “it was a dream that all came true, and that’s what movies are about. They are about dreams.”

This is exactly why the Beverly Hills Film Festival continues to elevate and support filmmakers and screenwriters without ceasing. Keep on dreaming and working towards making dreams REAL.
