URGENT POSTPONEMENT NOTICE
While the excitement and anticipation have been elevating for the 20th Beverly Hills Film Festival’s anniversary celebrations, we have been mindful and aware of the current global health emergency. The spread of COVID-19 has transformed our days into an exasperating time with our most human, ethical, and moral sense of duty at their highest level of priority.
Regardless of how much effort we all have dedicated to making the 20th Beverly Hills Film Festival a marvelous reality, and regardless of how much effort you, our respected artists, have put into producing your project, we all must respond to our most basic human call for action: solidarity.
After countless efforts in executing the 20th anniversary edition of the Beverly Hills Film Festival, it is with great sadness and and a heavy heart that we have to announce the postponement of the 20th Beverly Hills Film Festival scheduled to occur on April 1st-5th, 2020 until further notice.
We are constantly monitoring the changing situation and the latest travel advisories with leading health and travel officials. We will update this page immediately as changes occur.
Thorough conversations and meetings with World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) representatives, along with conversations with local city officials brought the executive directorial team at the Beverly Hills Film Festival to the final and difficult decision of postponement of the event.
Our guests’ and local residents’ safety and wellness are our priority. Due to the fact that the Beverly Hills Film Festival will bring together thousands of attendees locally and globally, it is our ethical and moral responsibility to not participate in the possible outbreak of COVID-19.
Though this is a great loss for the Beverly Hills Film Festival, we will do everything in our power to diligently serve our dear 2020 filmmaker and screenwriter official selections. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we face ongoing changes in making further decisions.
